The Backstory
TryApprove was born out of profound frustration. For years, we worked in creative agencies and freelance studios. We spent hours crafting beautiful websites, perfect logos, and engaging videos. Yet, the hardest part of the project was never the creative work. It was getting the client to actually approve it.
The workflow was universally broken. We would send a finalized PDF in an email thread. The client would reply with a screenshot. A different stakeholder would reply-all to disagree. Someone would lose the Google Drive link. When we finally sought out a "professional" online proofing tool, we found clunky, enterprise platforms from 2014 that forced our clients to create accounts, memorize passwords, and navigate massive dashboards just to look at a single deliverable.
