Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TryApprove ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including agency owners, team members, and clients accessing the portal.

2. Description of Service

TryApprove is a white-labeled client portal that enables agencies and freelancers to manage projects, share deliverables, and collect client approvals. The Service includes project management, task tracking, file sharing, client portal access via magic links, team collaboration, and email notifications.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities under it.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Use the Service for spamming, phishing, or distributing malware.

5. Your Content

  • You retain full ownership of all content you upload to the Service (projects, tasks, files, comments, logos).
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you upload and share through the client portal.
  • We do not monitor or pre-screen user content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Client Portal & Magic Links

  • Magic links provide access to the client portal without requiring a password or account.
  • Magic links expire after 30 days. You can generate new links at any time.
  • You are responsible for sharing magic links only with intended recipients.
  • Anyone with a valid magic link can view the content you have marked as visible to clients.
  • We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from shared or leaked magic links.

7. Pricing & Payment

  • The free plan is available with limited features as described on our pricing page.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
  • Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase for paid plans.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue plans at any time.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRYAPPROVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
