GDPR Compliance
Last updated: February 10, 2026
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a comprehensive European data protection law that provides greater data rights for individuals. TryApprove is fully committed to GDPR compliance and the protection of the personal data of our users and their clients.
Our Role
Under the GDPR, TryApprove acts as a Data Processor for the client data (deliverables, comments, timestamps) that agencies upload to our platform. The agency using TryApprove acts as the Data Controller. We only process this data according to the instructions of our customers.
Your Data Subject Rights
- Right of Access: You can request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You can update or correct your account details directly inside the TryApprove dashboard.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request the total deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
- Right to Data Portability: You can export your data (projects, tasks, comments) out of TryApprove upon request.
Sub-processors
To run TryApprove reliably, we use reputable third-party infrastructure providers (sub-processors) such as Vercel (hosting) and Stripe (payments). We ensure that all our sub-processors maintain GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreements.
Exercising Your Rights
If you or one of your clients wishes to exercise any GDPR rights, please contact our privacy team at privacy@tryapprove.com. We are committed to processing all requests within the legally mandated 30-day timeframe.
